How returns work on Crafty

Most items on Crafty are made-to-order by independent makers. That means many items aren’t returnable for change of mind. This policy covers when you can return an item and how to do it.

Items eligible for return

You can request a return within 7 days of delivery if:

  • The item arrived damaged or defective.

  • You received the wrong item.

  • The item is materially different from its listing description.

Items not eligible for return

  • Custom or personalized items (e.g. a license plate with your name) — unless they fall into one of the categories above.

  • Items damaged after delivery through misuse.

  • Items beyond the 7-day window.

How to request a return

  1. Open your order on the "My orders" page in your account.

  2. Click "Request return" and tell us what’s wrong, with photos if possible.

  3. The seller has 3 business days to respond. Crafty mediates if there’s a dispute.

  4. If approved, ship the item back. The seller covers return shipping when the fault is on their side.

  5. Refunds are reviewed manually in V1 and confirmed by support or the seller after the return/resolution is accepted.

Refund method

Because Crafty is manual-payment based in V1, refund method and timing depend on how the seller collected payment. Support will record the refund request and coordinate the next steps.

Chargebacks

We ask that you contact us first before raising a chargeback with your bank. Chargebacks raised without contacting Crafty may delay resolution.
