What this policy covers
Crafty is operated by Mahmood Mohsin in Bahrain. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use crafty.maki.bh, why we collect it, and your rights under Bahrain’s Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL, Law No. 30 of 2018).
Data we collect
Account data: your email address, display name, and (optional) profile picture, provided either directly or through Google or Apple sign-in.
Order data: your delivery address, governorate, phone number (when you provide it), and the items in each order.
Communication data: emails we send you about your orders and your replies to support.
How we use your data
To create and authenticate your account.
To process and deliver your orders.
To answer support questions and resolve disputes.
To send transactional emails (order confirmations, shipping updates).
We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Where your data lives
Account credentials and order data are stored with Supabase in the Singapore region (ap-southeast-1). Email delivery is handled by Resend. Both providers are bound by data processing agreements.
How long we keep it
Account data: as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time by contacting us.
Order data: seven years, to satisfy Bahrain commercial record-keeping requirements.
Your rights
Under the PDPL you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email us at mahmood.mohssin99@gmail.com.
Cookies and tracking
We use only essential cookies to keep you signed in. We do not run analytics, advertising trackers, or fingerprinting scripts. Messages and public marketplace content may be reviewed by Crafty admins for support, fraud prevention, safety, abuse handling, and legal compliance.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Crafty grows. The "Last updated" date below shows when. Material changes will also be announced by email to registered users.
